Putrela Children Home

Putrela Children Home

(Putrela, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh, South India)

(Raising children, transforming lives) “One person can make a difference and every person should try.” “Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future” “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.”

From the desk of the Founder

Being the Founder of this Organization, I would not forget to render my gratitude to my Lord Jesus Christ. I was born and raised in True Christian family and grown up with pure maturity towards the Christianity and learned to practice what is my responsibility in my society I live. I saw there are many children are dying on roads, some body begging on streets. It moves my heart and I spent many days with tears in the presence of God about these Orphans. God answered my prayers and we are able to start the Orphanage Home in 2009. His inordinate blessings upon my life, has given me the zeal to help the differentially privileged friends in the society and with them as the cornerstone, this Children Home was built by great support of few of my Beloved and dedicated Brothers & Sisters in the States in 2009 in Kovvada, Andhra Pradesh, South India.

Reason we built the Children’s Home?

Scriptural Proclamation

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” – James 1:27

Goal

To restore childhoods in Christ for permanently displaced and orphaned children as we raise them as disciples and leaders who bring about permanent change right where God planted them.

How the Children Home begin

Putrela Children’s Home is a grassroots ministry providing housing, food, clothing, medical care, education, and love to these children to give them brighter hope in the future. We started this home with a few children. And now we have 50 children (Boys and Girls). Feeding, clothing, caring, and providing Christian education to these blessed children take the grace of God, the prayers, and resources of concerned individuals.

We believe that PUTRELA CHILDREN’S HOME is playing an important role in helping the needy and less fortunate children in India. It is our desire to help them in a very charitable and worthwhile effort and see the tremendous difference in their lives.

Over 2.6 million children are wandering the streets of India without love and care. Food, shelter, and care are the basic necessities of life, yet these children have none of these. Each child deserves adequate nutrition, medical care and education and it is important to us that as many children as possible can be welcomed into an orphanage and receive all these factors.

As we all know that there are thousands upon thousands of orphaned, unwanted children living on the street of India, and we know we cannot help them all. But we can make a difference for some of the children, and with your help we can make a difference even more.

What we do for our Children at our home

A place to call home – Eliminating the feeling of loneliness and desertion, each child becomes a member of the Putrela Children Home. A permanent home with all facilities with an open playground providing a safe and secure environment where the children return to after a hard day’s schooling.

Education – We have total 130children (Boys and Girls). The children syllabus includes English, Science, Mathematics, Social and Telugu (Telugu is the native language of Andhra Pradesh). Children’s homes have their own school for all the children. We have faithful and dedicated faculty who have great experience teaching.

Separate Campus for Boys & Girls: We have separate rooms for boys and girls in our premises. We have provided more privacy for girls. And there are few qualified women care takers with good counselors for Girls and Boys.

Food and Good Health Care – The children are provided with a well-balanced and nutritious diet. Any health care issues that arise are dealt with by our family Doctor and the observation of Qualified Nurses.

Good Training for Developing Skills – we have qualified instructors who take care of their education with proper instructions to gain more knowledge. The children are trained in many different fields to ensure that they are able to become independent in the future.

Giving is something that no one can take away from you. The rewards of giving go far beyond money and material things. Giving is something you will be able to take with you wherever you go for the rest of your life.

Expanded and Built Largest Children Home in India: The old children home has only two rooms and children don’t have playground, Library, and other necessary facilities. So, we prayed for many years and build new Orphanage home in Putrela village in Andhra Pradesh, India.

Looking back, it is a great experience to be involved in this labor. It is a journey with love, care and integrity. The below verse from the Holy bible agitated me to engross into this mission

“For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’“Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? ‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? ‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?”

“The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’ (Mathew 25: 35 :40)”

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. (Philippians 4 :13). With the strength of my Savior, I have been doing my chore with deep perseverance and altruistic vow for the past 6 years in spite of financial quandary and social oppression, intricacies, obstacles. What come may, I have firm faith, The LORD will fulfill [his purpose] for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever–do not abandon the works of your hands.
